Particular attention has been dedicated in the Nursing House to surgery, which is its peculiar activity.

The selected surgery activity is practised five days a week (Monday-Friday) on five completely autonomous surgical beds supplied with the most modern equipments for patients' control and surgical operations' execution. One of the beds is devoted to ambulatory activity. The department can count on a highly qualified staff, formed by a ward sister, 14 professional nurses and 7 auxiliaries.

Furthermore, an autonomous sterilization system exists, completed with plasma-gas cold sterilization and hydrogen peroxide equipment.
